Miranda and Frans Onland moved to New Zealand over 25 years ago from The Netherlands. Awed by the country’s beautiful scenery and friendly people, the two decided to make New Zealand their new home and have raised their five children here. Once the kids left the nest, it became time to set out on the next part of their adventure. Moving to the tranquil setting of Thyme Out Estate has given Miranda and Frans the opportunity to further pursue their passion for healthy living which includes a vegetarian, teetotal lifestyle. In addition to all the standard services that Thyme Out Estate provides, Miranda and Frans hope to introduce their guests to the benefits of predominantly plant-based foods that are both wholesome and enjoyable.
