Gardening Extravaganza

Is there such a thing as too much gardening? Apparently not!
When I wake up in the morning, especially on those beautiful mornings when there’s not a cloud in the sky, Frans and I have breakfast and then I head straight out into the garden.
There are always a few things I have to attend too. Watering the seedlings is one of them.
All of the veggies I planted at the end of winter are growing well inside our toasty warm greenhouse.
Tomorrow the first lettuces, cabbages and cauliflowers will be planted outdoors in the veggie garden.
I can almost hear you saying, “Not before Labour weekend or they might get frosted over!”
Well, I’m going to be brave and plant them anyway.
Mr and Mrs Smith are still making an appearance but now it’s a lot later in the day and they’re not always together.
Trouble in paradise, perhaps?
My bet is that one stays by the nest while the other goes out to flap their wings and have a walkabout.
Over the past few days I have had some new company in the form of two white doves.
The doves flew in one morning and must have liked what they saw because they keep coming back.
Paradise must be attractive to all kinds of species!
